Beach Terrace Inn, the only hotel located directly on the beach in Carlsbad, features 49 distinctive one-bedroom suites and guest rooms offering magnificent ocean front and ocean view rooms. Each of our one-bedroom suites is equipped with a kitchenette, fireplace, and private balcony. The newly renovated %3FPool Terrace Building%3F overlooks our refreshing beach level pool as well as the Pacific Ocean. Our very spacious guest rooms have a sweeping ocean view along with a private balcony. For the more experience and adventurous traveler, there are a few smaller units without the private balconies. Each smaller unit provides a fireplace, extensive wet bar, and a lateral ocean view. During your stay at Beach Terrace Inn, you%3Fll have the opportunity to experience an exciting variety of dining and entertainment throughout the City of Carlsbad. Beach Terrace Inn has a total of 49 guest rooms. The property includes 28 One Bedroom Suites featuring a separate living room, bedroom, kitchenette, private balcony, and gas fireplace. Our six Studio Suites include a microwave, refrigerator, and gas fireplace. The 14 Extra Large Guest Rooms offer two queen size beds or one king-size bed along with a queen size sofa sleeper and private balcony. We also feature one Specialty Suite with a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub. All but two of our rooms entertain ocean views and many are oceanfront. Ocean front meaning we sit directly on the beach with nothing to obstruct your access to the sand. Our beach level swimming pool and therapy whirlpool sit on a private enclosed deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. On the deck are lounge chairs, mats, and table and chairs for your use and entertainment while enjoying our pool facilities. For those of you who have forgotten your beach towel or would like to have an extra one, we will provide one for you. Access from the hotel to and from the city beach is through locked security gates only. With its panoramic ocean view, our meeting room is approximately 1000 square feet. On most days, you will have the pleasure of enjoying your complimentary continental breakfast here. This facility is also used for banquets, seminars, and mini conferences. With the rental of the meeting room, we offer a variety of audio visual aids and off site catering is available also. Our Continental Breakfast consists of fresh baked Danish, fresh Bagels, assorted Cereals, toast, hard boiled eggs, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, butter, margarine, jellies, and cream cheese. Also beginning March 8, 2007 the Beach Terrace Inn will be under construction for an unknown period of time.
